Location: Overley Hall Ltd / Woodlands. Wellington TF6 5HE
Salary:£12.71 - £14.24
Hours: Full-time - 40 hours per week

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Adult Support Worker to join our dedicated team. This is a rewarding role where no two days are the same — you’ll make a real difference in people’s lives while developing your own skills and career.
What You’ll Do
- Support residents with personal care and daily living, while promoting independence.
- Encourage and facilitate choice, social inclusion, and access to meaningful activities.
- Support residents with medical appointments, health, and wellbeing.
- Administer medication (training provided).
- Accompany residents on outings, activities, and community engagement.
- Work closely with colleagues, families, and professionals to ensure excellent care.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality at all times.
- Support residents to maintain relationships with friends and family.
- Assist with domestic tasks to help keep the home safe and welcoming.
- Take on Key Worker responsibilities for specific residents (where applicable), ensuring person-centred plans and care reviews are maintained.
What We’re Looking For
Essential qualities:
- Caring, trustworthy, and reliable.
- Good communication skills (spoken and written English).
- Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Flexible to work unsociable hours, weekends, and sleep-ins on a rota.
- Willingness to undertake training, including a Diploma in Health & Social Care.
- Ability to drive (company vehicles may be used).
Desirable qualities:
- Previous experience in care/support work.
- Understanding of non-verbal communication.
- Computer literacy and basic IT skills.
