At The Rodings we’re looking for a confident, energetic Head Waiter / Supervisor who’s ready to grow into a bigger leadership role within a busy, quality-driven venue.
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced waiter, supervisor, or front-of-house team leader who loves hospitality, understands great service, and wants to develop their career in a supportive and ambitious environment.
We want someone who leads from the front — setting standards, supporting the team, and creating memorable guest experiences every shift.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading front-of-house service during busy shifts
- Supporting and motivating the restaurant team
- Delivering exceptional customer service standards
- Maintaining strong food, wine, cocktail, and drinks knowledge
- Ensuring smooth communication between kitchen and floor teams
- Handling guest feedback professionally and confidently
- Supporting rotas, opening/closing procedures, and daily operations
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and health & safety
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a busy restaurant, pub, or hospitality venue
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred
- Strong food and beverage knowledge
- Confident communication and leadership skills
- Passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of health & safety and service standards
- A positive attitude and desire to progress
