Job description
Weatherproofing Advisors is a national Roofing, Cladding and Scaffolding company with locations in Glasgow, Newcastle, Merseyside, London, and Bristol. We are currently recruiting for the following position:
· 1 - Site Manager for our London Branch, but to be living around the South London area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to company health and safety arrangements.
- Conduct site audits and inspections, reporting and resolving any issues.
- Maintain accurate site documentation and update the WPA Portal regularly.
- Review and manage RAMS and Health & Safety documentation.
- Communicate effectively with operatives, contract managers, and clients.
- Organise plant, materials, and suppliers to maintain site progress.
- Monitor project progress and drive production to meet programme targets.
- Minimise waste and manage stock levels in line with environmental and profitability goals.
Requirements
- Strong background in sheeting and cladding.
- Knowledge of various roof systems and construction methodologies.
- Experience managing multiple contractors on active construction sites.
- Understanding of CDM 2015 and site safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use digital platforms for site reporting and documentation.
