Artist Residence – Penzance

Artist Residence Penzance is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Housekeeper to join our team.
We are seeking someone who takes real pride in cleaning and presentation, and who enjoys maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Our housekeepers play a key role in ensuring that bedrooms and guest spaces are maintained to five-star standards, creating a welcoming and beautifully presented environment for our guests.
The Role
- Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms to a high boutique hotel standard
- Cleaning and maintaining public areas and back-of-house spaces
- Changing bed linen and replenishing room amenities
- Ensuring rooms are beautifully presented and guest-ready
- Following housekeeping checklists and procedures
- Reporting maintenance issues or guest items left behind
- Working efficiently to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests
- Supporting the team to maintain consistently high standards
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in cleaning and presentation
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is organised, efficient and productive
- Maintains very high standards of cleanliness
- Is reliable and punctual
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
- Is friendly and professional around guests
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
Hours
Typical shifts are approximately 11am – 4pm, depending on occupancy.
We are open to part-time applicants, including those looking for a few shifts per week.
