Horizon Honda Yeovil is recruiting for a Part-Time Sales Administrator to join our small, friendly and supportive dealership team.

Horizon Magna Motor Group is a privately owned motor retail business established in Poole in 1971. We proudly represent Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Changan across 12 dealerships located in Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset, and Wiltshire.
The Role
Working closely with the Sales Department and dealership team, you will be responsible for supporting the administration of vehicle sales from order through to delivery, ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and within required timescales.
You will also provide a professional reception service, acting as the first point of contact for customers and visitors to the dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for all customers and visitors to the dealership, providing a professional and welcoming reception service both in person and over the telephone
- Handling incoming calls, accurately direct enquiries and ensure messages and follow up actions are communicated promptly
- Process new and used vehicle orders from point of sale through to vehicle delivery
- Prepare vehicle invoices and ensure all sales documentation is accurate, complete and processed within required timescales
- Maintain vehicle stock records and update dealership systems accordingly
- Register new vehicles and process vehicle taxation requirements
- Monitor vehicle arrivals, preparation status and delivery schedules to support a smooth customer handover process
- Process and maintain finance documentation, ensuring compliance with FCA requirements, dealership policies and manufacturer standards
- Ensure vehicle order files and customer records are fully compliant, audit-ready and maintained in accordance with GDPR requirements
- Support internal, manufacturer and regulatory audits as required
- Maintain high standards throughout the reception, showroom and customer waiting areas, including managing stationery and refreshment supplies
- Provide general administrative support to the Sales and Service departments and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the dealership
What We’re looking for:
- Previous administration experience is essential
- Experience within the motor trade, vehicle sales administration or a regulated administrative environment would be advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- A proactive and flexible approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An understanding of confidentiality, GDPR and the importance of accurate record keeping
