We are looking for an individual to provide high quality person centred care, enabling the individual to live their life to the fullest potential. This domiciliary care opportunity involves looking after a female service user in her own home, located in Maidenhead.
She is a warm and easy going woman which sustained an injury resulting in quadriplegia. She has full mental capacity and is able to communicate her needs verbally, remaining assertive in aspects important to her. The support she requires consists of:
- Manual handling
- Personal care tasks such as washing and dressing
- Eating and drinking
- Catheter care
- Light housework
Flexible working hours are available, with long days, half days and occasional night shifts.
Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or home care is highly desirable
A driving license is beneficial for the application, but not compulsory.
Pay: £17.50 per hour
