As well as offering a broad range of homegrown bedding plants and perennials, we have a glasshouse-style café.
As we look towards our second century, we’re looking for an enterprising and innovative Nursery Supervisor who can help us forge the foundations for the next 100 years,
Key responsibilities
· Assist Manger with the day-to-day running of the retail business with a customer focused approach.
· Stock control- ordering stock maintaining good stock levels
· Dealing with customer queries
· Carrying out end of day procedures.
· Prioritising daily duties for the nursery team.
· Maintain a good team atmosphere

Skills and experience required
Essential
· Good plants knowledge
· Proven track record of working in a garden centre or horticultural environment.
· An eye for in-store aesthetics and presentation, including displays.
· An intuitive grasp of merchandising techniques.
· Progressive leadership and people management skills.
· Slick organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
· Must have clean driving licence - Fork lift experience an advantage

Salary Range £ 28,121.60 to £30,000.00
Hours: Full Time inc. Alternative Weekends
