Parker Adams Boat Sales is a growing yacht brokerage specialising in the sale of quality motorboats and yachts across the UK. Since acquiring FlexiSail in 2024, both businesses have experienced significant growth. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships with our customers.
We are looking for friendly, organised and proactive people to join our team during a busy summer season. This hands-on position combines yacht maintenance, fleet preparation, member support and marina operations, ensuring every vessel is presented to the highest standard and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain and present the FlexiSail fleet to a high standard
- Carry out routine maintenance, minor repairs and fault finding
- Inspect vessels, report defects and ensure they are fully equipped and operational
- Assist with marina and fleet operations, including moving sailing yachts and motorboats
- Provide excellent support to members and assist the office team when required
About You
You will be practical, self-motivated and enjoy working outdoors. You'll have a good knowledge of sailing yachts and motorboats, be confident operating both, and possess strong maintenance and problem-solving skills. A professional, flexible and customer-focused approach is essential.
Essential Requirements
- Experience with sailing yachts and motorboats
- Ability to confidently manoeuvre both sail and power vessels
- Practical maintenance and repair skills
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently
Desirable
- RYA qualifications
- Marine industry, marina or yacht charter experience
- Knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems and onboard equipment
- Full UK driving licence
