Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily activities
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, following established protocols
- Assist medical staff with procedures and treatments as required
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the nursing station and patient areas
- Respond promptly to patient needs, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times
- Adhere to infection control policies and maintain strict hygiene standards
Experience
- Prior experience in a clinical or hospital environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is advantageous
- Proven ability to administer medication safely and effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to empathise with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
This role requires a compassionate individual with a strong sense of responsibility, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. A recognised nursing qualification is essential, along with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Pay: £24,588.81-£41,027.23 per year
