The successful applicants will be supported by a team of forward thinking and dynamic Consultant Dermatologists, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Trainees, Clinical Fellows and GP's with a Specialist Interest. The Royal Free London skin cancer service includes a successful joint cross site MDT and dedicated decision to treat results clinics, a thriving Mohs and reconstructive surgery service and a Renal Transplant clinic. The service also hosts the specialist skin cancer MDT for North Central London.
Post holder would be expected to participate in ward rounds and/or on call at Royal Free Hospital/Barnet Hospital according to the needs of the service which can include weekends.
Applicants will also have the opportunity to work within one of our dedicated specialty services, these include a busy and forward thinking psoriasis department with a dedicated psychodermatology service, eczema, paediatrics, connective tissue disease, hair and nail, acne and complex medical.
The post holders will have SPA time available to attend local departmental meetings, including the ability to contribute to established audit, governance and service improvement structures. Post holders will also have the ability to attend the monthly dermatology meetings at the Dermatology Section of the Royal Society of Medicine and St Johns Dermatology Society. There is also opportunity for new colleagues to establish links with other Trusts for professional development and governance as part of the North Central London Dermatology Network.
