Overview
Penrice House is a warm, friendly, and highly respected residential care home in St Austell. We are proud of our caring team and the positive difference we make every day to the lives of our residents. We are now looking for a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to join our team.
As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with their daily living needs, helping to promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing. Duties include:
- Providing personal care and support
- Assisting with meals and hydration
- Supporting residents to participate in activities
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
Full-Time Care Assistant – 24hours per week ( We are also looking for bank staff)
- A consistent weekly rota
- Mix of AM & PM shifts between 07:00–20:00
- Every other weekend on a rota basis
Afternoon Care Assistants – 2pm–8pm shifts
- Ideal for those seeking set PM shifts
- Flexible hours within 24–30 hours per week
- Weekend availability required on rota
