Night Operations Supervisor
Location: Colnbrook, Berkshire
Job Type: Full-Time (Temporary to Permanent)
Shift Pattern: Saturday to Wednesday (Night Shift)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Night Operations Supervisor to join our fast-paced logistics operation in Colnbrook.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader with warehouse and logistics experience who thrives in a busy operational environment. You will be responsible for leading the night shift, ensuring customer shipments are processed accurately, safely, and on time while maintaining the highest standards of operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day warehouse and operational activities during the night shift.
- Ensure all customer shipments are processed accurately and within agreed service levels.
- Allocate labour effectively to meet operational priorities.
- Monitor workflow and respond quickly to changing operational demands.
- Lead, motivate and support warehouse teams to achieve productivity targets.
- Conduct shift briefings and handovers.
- Monitor attendance, performance and timekeeping.
- Coach and develop team members.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and training.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC Customs requirements, Health & Safety, GDPR and security regulations.
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
- Investigate operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader, Shift Supervisor or Operations Supervisor.
- Warehouse or logistics industry experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.
- Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible approach to working hours during busy periods.
Desirable
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
- Logistics and international freight experience.
- Forklift Licence.
- Dangerous Goods awareness.
- First Aid qualification.
- Security awareness.
