About White Cross Training
At White Cross Training, we believe first aid training should be practical, engaging and confidence-building.
We don't believe in death by PowerPoint.
We believe people learn best when they are involved, practising skills, asking questions, laughing, and building confidence.
Our goal is simple: to help more people feel confident enough to step forward and help when it matters most.
We deliver hands-on first aid training and event medical cover across Devon and Cornwall and are proud of the reputation we have built for providing high-quality, practical and enjoyable training experiences.

We expect high standards from ourselves and our team.
Good enough is not enough.
We continually invest in equipment, training methods and professional development.
We use high-quality training equipment, realistic scenarios and hands-on learning to create memorable learning experiences.

How to Apply
Please do not send a CV.
We're far more interested in who you are, how you communicate and how you help people learn than where you've worked.
Instead, please email your application to [email protected] and include:
· Your name, location, email address and phone number
· A summary of your relevant qualifications
· Confirmation of your DBS status
· Answers to the following six questions:
1. Why do you want to work with White Cross Training?
2. Tell us about a time you taught, coached, mentored or supported somebody to learn a new skill. What did you do and what was the outcome?
3. Imagine you are delivering CPR training and one participant is clearly struggling and becoming embarrassed. What would you do?
4. What have you done in the last 12 months to improve your own skills, knowledge or performance?
5. Tell us about a time you received constructive feedback. How did you respond and what did you change?
6. What does excellent first aid training look like to you?
What Happens Next?
Successful applicants will be invited to submit a short video application demonstrating their communication and teaching style.
Final shortlisted candidates will then be invited to deliver a short practical teaching session and attend an informal interview.
We're looking for more than qualifications.
We're looking for people who are approachable, engaging, coachable and passionate about helping others learn.
Good enough is not enough.
