Level 3 Early Years Practitioner at Little Petals Day Nursery
We are looking for a passionate, caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team. We are a warm, family run nursery where children are at the heart of everything we do. We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, secure, valued and encouraged to explore, learn and develop at their own pace. The Role
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high quality care, learning and development opportunities for the children in your care. You will:
- Provide warm, responsive and nurturing care to children.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
- Plan and provide engaging, age appropriate experiences.
- Follow children's interests and use these to support meaningful learning.
- Observe, assess and record children's development and progress.
- Support children's communication, language, personal, social and emotional development.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures.
- Contribute positively to the nursery's ethos and continuous improvement.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Level 3 qualified in Early Years Childcare or equivalent.
- Warm, caring and genuinely passionate about working with young children.
- A confident communicator who can build positive relationships with children and families.
- Enthusiastic, creative and able to use children's interests to extend their learning.
- Reliable, professional and committed to providing high-quality care.
- A positive team player who is willing to support colleagues.
- Reflective and keen to develop their knowledge and practice.
- Able to demonstrate a good understanding of the EYFS.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.Most importantly, we are looking for someone who understands that the quality of relationships we build with children is at the heart of excellent early years practice.

Pay: £12.71-£13.80 per hour
