Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and reliable Hygiene Operative to join our Hygiene team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our food manufacturing facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working in a team, and takes pride in creating a spotless, hygienic space.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment to meet hygiene standards.
- Assist with waste disposal, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and waste is handled safely.
- Use construction experience to identify areas needing repair or maintenance that could impact hygiene standards.
- Follow strict health and safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Support the team in deep cleaning tasks during scheduled maintenance or after events.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when stock needs replenishing.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently while adhering to company policies and hygiene regulations.
Working Hours: 8am-4pm Wednesday-Saturday (40 Hours Per Week)
Pay: From £13.45 per hour
