Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated clearly.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Check in with guests during their visit to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper hygiene practices at all times to ensure guest safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm is key!
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and order accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques.
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy service periods.
- A positive attitude with a genuine desire to provide excellent guest services.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays.
As this role will include serving alcohol you will need to be over 18 years of age in line with Scottish Licensing Laws
Pay: £12.71 per hour
