Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-Ordinator to join our Health, Safety, Quality and Compliance team. This is a pivotal support role, working for the Safety, Quality and Compliance Manager to ensure that all administration is completed to the highest standards.
You will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring workplace health, safety and compliance to ensure compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:
Provide support with:
- The development and implementation of practical and effective methods of promoting H&S and safe working practices.
- Supporting with regular safety inspections and audits.
- Monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining accurate records of inspections, incidents and training.
- Investigating workplace accidents and incidents, ensuring paperwork is completed and shared with relevant senior managers.
- Conducting and reviewing risk assessments and implementing preventive measures.
- Organising statutory and safety training, including workshops, drills and documentation of completed training.
- Co-ordinate and manage First Aid and Fire Safety across all areas of the business.
- Act as a liaison with the Insurance company.
- Ensure all accidents and near misses are recorded and reported to the business.
- Report all incidents reportable under R.I.D.D.O.R.
- Monitor and report on safety performance across the business.
- Update H&S Management System.
- Ensure noticeboards are up to date with H&S information (including outer depots).
- Monitor contractors, issue permits to work and monitor activities requiring permits.
- Provide support to the Safety, Quality and Compliance Manager as required.
- Administration duties, including emails, filing, database management and report writing.
Requirements
- At least 3 years administrative experience.
- Ideally experience of working in a H&S, quality, compliance or similar role.
- Understanding of NEBOSH / IOSH / ISO / safety guidelines or prepared to learn.
- Experience in carrying out investigations, audits or risk assessments would be advantageous.

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
