We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Consultant Psychiatrist on a substantive basis as part of our comprehensive CAMHS Service in North Derbyshire, based across our two sites at Chesterfield and Buxton or solely in Buxton (depending on successful candidate’s preference).
The successful Candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a flexible approach. You will be a team player who enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary setting with highly experienced and skilled staff while being capable of providing clinical leadership for the team .
We offer £10,000 in addition to basic salary on commencement, with a further £10,000 after 2 years in post. An additional SPA beyond the usual allocation of 1.5 PAs will also be allocated to enable our appointee to undertake defined Care Unit support. Benefits will be pro rata for part time.
The CAMHS service is part of the Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust which also benefits from co-location of comprehensive paediatric services, (paediatricians, paediatric ward, community therapists and nurses) and the disabled children’s social care team. The CAMHS team enjoy highly positive relationships with paediatrics.
