We are looking for a compassionate, professional, and reliable Bank Nurse to join our friendly private medical practice on a flexible, as-needed basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse who enjoys delivering high-quality patient care in a welcoming and patient-focused environment. Bank shifts will be offered to provide cover for annual leave, sickness, and periods of increased demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients.
- Assist with procedures, and minor surgery clinics.
- Perform clinical assessments, wound care, suture removal as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Prepare and maintain clinical rooms and equipment.
- Ensure infection prevention and control standards are consistently met.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and administrative staff.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Professional, caring, and patient-centred approach.
- Flexibility to work ad hoc shifts, sometimes at short notice.
Desirable
- Previous experience in dermatology, minor surgery, plastic surgery, or a private healthcare setting.
- Experience in wound management and assisting with surgical procedures.
- Knowledge of dermatology.
