Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate GCSE Maths Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have excellent GCSE and A Level Maths grades as well as experience of tutoring or teaching young adults studying for their GCSE exams.
Duties
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that accommodate different learning styles.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support students' educational development.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence and motivation in students.
- Utilise effective communication skills to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.
Qualifications
- A Level Maths qualification.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents.
- A patient and adaptable approach to teaching that caters to diverse learning abilities.
