Blossom Tree Montessori are recruiting for a Montessori Teacher to join their busy, yet warm and friendly nursery.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Montessori Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a wonderful opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.
As a Montessori Teacher, you will create a warm, welcoming and inspiring learning environment that reflects the Montessori philosophy. You will support each child's individual development through carefully prepared activities and meaningful interactions, helping them to reach their full potential.
This role is full time, working 40 hours per week – working a variety of shifts between the hours of 7:30am-6pm.

A day as a Montessori Teacher at Blossom would include:
- Working as part of a team to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Caring for all children and ensuring their personal and hygiene needs are met daily.
- Preparing the environment.
- Ensuring the children are happy, settled and content.
- Observing, assessing and planning for the children’s individual needs, ensuring their development is continuously monitored and create opportunities for children to progress.
- Keeping up to date and informed of legislation in relation to early education and ensure that all paperwork is in keeping with the EYFS and Ofsted Requirements.
- Becoming familiarised with the nursery's policies and procedures and working within these.
- Forming professional and friendly partnerships with parents and forming secure relationships with the children.
What we would ask from you:
- A Montessori Diploma is essential for this role.
- Previous experience of working in a nursery setting with children under the age of 5 is essential.
- Previous experience of working in a Montessori setting is essential.
- An extensive knowledge of the current EYFS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- To be passionate, motivated, have the ability to work well within a team and be able to adapt to a fun and inspiring way of working.
We take safeguarding very seriously and a current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate is essential.
