Self-Employed Mortgage Adviser

Salary & Benefits:
- ALL leads provided – consistently high volume with more enquiries than the team can currently handle
- Premium lead sources, including a strong pipeline from new build developer partnerships
- Competitive commission structure:
- 60/40 split on company-provided mortgage leads
- 50/50 split on protection business
- High-volume opportunity – circa 30 leads generated over the weekend, shared across a small team (approx. 15 leads available from Monday)

Working Arrangements:
- Flexible hybrid setup – typically one day per week in the office, with options for less frequent visits or fully remote working depending on location
- Standard hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm, aligned with new build developer schedules, with flexibility where needed
- Weekend rota (1 in 4) – a key time for lead generation, with time off in lieu provided during the week
Desired Experience:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, driven, and client-focused, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Minimum 18 months’ experience as a mortgage adviser
- CAS – Competent Adviser Status
- Fully CeMAP qualified or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proactive, organised, and commercially aware
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Advise clients on mortgages and protection products
- Manage cases from enquiry through to completion
- Work with company-provided and self-generated leads
- Liaise with lenders, insurers, and clients to ensure smooth case progression (supported by admin team)
- Ensure all advice is compliant with FCA regulations
- Keep up to date with mortgage products, regulations, and market trends
- Maintain strong client and introducer relationships
