7.5 Tonne Driver (C1) – Full Time
Job Summary
Westbury Packaging is looking to recruit a reliable and professional full-time 7.5 Tonne (C1) Driver to join our transport team.
Reporting to the Transport Manager, your duties will include:
- Delivering pallets of corrugated packaging to customers, primarily throughout the South West, with occasional deliveries into London.
- Completing between 1 and 10 deliveries per day, depending on the route.
- Collecting materials from suppliers when required.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly.
- Loading, securing and transporting goods safely and in accordance with legal requirements.
- Using tail lifts and pallet trucks where required for deliveries.
- Maintaining a professional and courteous manner when dealing with customers.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday.
- No overnight stays.
- Start time of either 5:45am or 6:45am, depending on the day's route.
- Average 40 hours per week.
Pay & Benefits

- Minimum of two weeks' paid training before working independently.
- Assigned vehicle: 62-plate DAF.
Essential Requirements
- Category C1 driving licence (or grandfather rights).
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good customer service skills.
- A positive, reliable and safety-conscious approach to work.

Westbury Packaging is a leading manufacturer of corrugated cardboard packaging. We specialise in the design, manufacture, storage and distribution of high-quality corrugated packaging products and packaging consumables, supplying customers across the South West and beyond.
We are currently based in Melksham, Wiltshire. However, we will be relocating to a new facility in Westbury in the near future. The successful applicant should therefore be willing and able to work from our Westbury site once the move takes place.
Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
