Duties
- Assist with patient care activities, including preparing patients for procedures and monitoring their comfort throughout their stay
- Support surgical teams by preparing operating theatres with necessary equipment and supplies
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols to ensure a sterile environment
- Administer medications under supervision, following prescribed guidelines and safety procedures
- Assist with patient mobility, positioning, and basic hygiene needs to promote recovery and well-being
- Monitor patient status, report any concerns promptly to medical staff, and document observations accurately
- Support the overall cleanliness and organization of wards and theatres to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety
Experience
- Prior experience in healthcare or hospital settings is essential; Minimum 12 months in UK hospital. However, training will be provided
- Knowledge of human anatomy to assist effectively in patient care activities
- Strong understanding of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with medical teams and support staff
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment
