Essential Requirements
✔ Previous fire door installation experience
✔ Previous fire door remedial experience
✔ Able to install complete doorsets independently
✔ Able to work without supervision from day one
✔ Own long-wheelbase van (or equivalent) capable of transporting fire doors
✔ Own tools
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
✔ Valid CSCS Card
✔ Good understanding of fire door regulations
✔ Professional attitude
✔ Good communication skills
✔ Reliable and punctual
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of fire door works including:
- Installation of FD30 and FD60 fire doorsets
- Fire door maintenance
- Fire door remedial works
- Re-lipping doors
- Installing and replacing hinges
- Installing closers
- Installing locks and latches
- Fitting intumescent and smoke seals
- Ironmongery upgrades
- Minor frame alterations
- Fire door adjustments
- Completing works in accordance with manufacturer instructions and current fire door standards
- Taking completion photographs where required
- Completing paperwork using mobile apps where required
