Prestbury Beauty is looking for a confident, professional and passionate Level 2 or Level 3 Beauty Therapistto join our growing salon team in Prestbury, Macclesfield.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in nails, waxing, eyebrows, lashes and facials, takes pride in their work and enjoys creating a welcoming experience for every client.
The successful applicant will work shifts across Tuesday to Saturday, with working hours to be agreed. Full-day availability is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out beauty treatments safely and to a high professional standard
- Perform manicures, pedicures and gel nail treatments
- Provide nail preparation, maintenance and safe product removal
- Carry out facial and body waxing treatments
- Perform eyebrow shaping, waxing and tinting
- Provide lash tinting and lash lift treatments, depending on qualifications
- Carry out facial and skincare treatments
- Complete client consultations and identify contraindications
- Recommend suitable treatments and provide aftercare advice
- Maintain accurate client consultation and treatment records
- Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships
- Encourage repeat appointments and treatment maintenance
- Keep treatment rooms and nail stations clean, organised and hygienic
- Follow salon policies, treatment protocols and health and safety procedures
- Assist with reception, bookings and general salon duties when required
Requirements
- Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification, or equivalent
- Previous salon or beauty industry experience is preferred
- Confident performing nail treatments
- Experience in waxing, eyebrows, lashes and facials
- Good understanding of consultations, contraindications and aftercare
- Professional, reliable and well-presented
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to manage appointment times effectively
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to complete additional training where required
- A genuine passion for beauty and client care
Essential Treatment Skills
Applicants should be confident in several of the following:
- Manicures and pedicures
- Gel polish application and removal
- Nail preparation and maintenance
- Facial and body waxing
- Eyebrow shaping, waxing and tinting
- Lash tinting
- Facials and skincare treatments
Experience with BIAB, builder gel, acrylic nails, nail extensions or nail art would be highly beneficial.
Working Hours
Shifts will be arranged across Tuesday to Saturday based on the salon’s requirements and the successful applicant’s agreed schedule.
This position does not necessarily require full working days, but reliability and consistent attendance for agreed shifts are essential.
