The Role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger process from start to finish, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time. You will work closely with colleagues across the business and build positive relationships with suppliers to maintain an efficient accounts payable function.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner using company software.
- Match purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare payment runs in accordance with company procedures.
- Respond to supplier queries professionally and promptly.
- Maintain accurate supplier records and account information.
- Assist with month-end processes and reporting.
- Support the wider finance team with administrative duties as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role.
- Has excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Can prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Has strong organisational and communication skills.
- Is confident using Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Has a positive, flexible and proactive approach.
