Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Podiatrist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide specialised foot and lower limb care, working closely with patients to diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of podiatric conditions. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' foot health, including medical history review and physical examinations
- Diagnose a wide range of podiatric conditions such as infections, deformities, and injuries
- Develop and implement personalised treatment plans, including prescribing orthotics, footwear advice, or medication as appropriate
- Perform minor surgical procedures when necessary, adhering to clinical guidelines and safety standards
- Educate patients on foot health maintenance, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
- Stay updated with the latest developments in podiatry through ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Qualified Podiatrist registered with the HCPC and Royal College of Podiatrists
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for clear documentation and patient consultations
- Good IT skills for managing electronic health records and clinical documentation
- Ability to work independently whilst also being a strong team player
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a compassionate manner
- Confident with lone working
