About the Role
We are looking to recruit experienced and trained Security Officers for an exciting new project in Omagh, starting immediately. The project requires night-time security coverage Monday to Friday, and we are seeking dynamic, reliable, and professional officers to join our team.
This is a long-term, permanent position where officers will be directly involved in safeguarding the client’s assets, maintaining high security standards, assisting with general business operations, and liaising with clients and the public.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team, providing a visible, welcoming, and professional security presence throughout the night.
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday: 15:00 – 07:00
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard the client’s assets and ensure high levels of security across the site.
- Work closely with the client, their customers, and members of the public, maintaining a professional and approachable presence.
- Handle general business occurrences and respond to enquiries effectively.
- Provide a highly visible and welcoming security presence.
- Liaise directly with the client and maintain open lines of communication.
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises and everyone within it.
- Follow all site-specific security procedures and instructions.
- Report any incidents, security breaches, or issues promptly and in accordance with the client's guidelines.
- Remain proactive and forward-thinking, ensuring all security measures are consistently followed and maintained.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Valid SIA Licence – mandatory.
- Previous experience as a Security Officer, ideally in a similar environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, approachable, and confident when dealing with clients, customers, and members of the public.
- Proactive and positive attitude with a strong focus on customer service.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult or challenging situations.
- Reliable and committed to working the required night shifts.
