Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Scaffolder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling scaffolding structures on various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols, excellent physical fitness, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Prior experience in construction-related fields is highly desirable, and candidates must be committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality throughout their work.
Duties
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Inspect scaffolding components regularly for stability and safety before use.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, roofers, and electricians to ensure seamless project progression.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, assemble, and secure scaffolding parts.
- Follow detailed plans and diagrams to ensure accurate assembly of scaffolding systems.
- Maintain a clean work area by organising materials and removing debris after completion of tasks.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines at all times during operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in scaffolding construction or related fields such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry is preferred.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques relevant to scaffold building.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations specific to working at height and scaffold installation is essential
- Prior involvement in site preparation and demolition activities is advantageous but not mandatory.
