Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring an enjoyable experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service and compliance with licensing laws.
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, mixers, and alcohol stock.
- Follow all food safety standards and health regulations diligently.
- Assist in setting up for special events or themed nights as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender within a busy hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, cocktail mixing techniques, and beverage presentation.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
- Good understanding of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting is Essential.
