Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional individual to join our team as a Bar/Front of House at our establishment in Lyme Regis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the face of our venue, providing excellent service to our guests in a lively and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high standards of hospitality, ensuring guests have a memorable experience, and maintaining the smooth operation of the bar and front-of-house area.
Duties
- Greeting and serving customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Taking orders accurately and delivering food and beverages promptly
- Preparing and serving drinks in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar and dining areas
- Handling cash transactions and operating the till with basic maths skills
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Assisting with setting up tables, clearing, and resetting for new guests
- Managing time effectively during busy periods to ensure excellent customer service
- Supporting team members as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to serve customers professionally while maintaining a positive attitude
- Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- A personable nature with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment
- Flexibility to work during peak times, including evenings and weekends as required

Pay: £12.21-£16.00 per hour
