Job Title: Legal Support Administrator
Pay: £25,000 per annum

We are now seeking Legal Support Administrators to join our growing Family Law team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a career in the legal profession while supporting clients and making a meaningful difference to people from all walks of life.
The Role
Our administrators support our Family Law team in progressing client matters and legal aid applications. Responsibilities include:
- Answering incoming client calls and enquiries in a professional and confidential manner
- Assisting clients with Legal Aid applications and conducting eligibility assessments in line with Legal Aid Agency requirements
- Drafting basic legal documents and correspondence under supervision
- Opening and maintaining client files on the case management system and preparing documentation for court
- Ensure files and records are maintained in accordance with firm procedures
- Liaising with clients, courts and external agencies where required
- Providing administrative support to solicitors and fee earners
- Opportunities to shadow fee earners at court and observe hearings
- Undertaking general administrative duties related to the role
Experience (Essential)
- A Law degree
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Good organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- A team player who can work on own initiative
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Proficient in LEAP or other case management systems
- Previous experience working in a legal environment
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
