Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cook. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our kitchen operations, ensuring that high-quality meals are prepared and served to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety standards; however this is not essential as full training will be given.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
- Support the serving staff by preparing plates for service and assisting during busy periods.
- Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting any shortages or issues.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is desired, with a focus on food preparation and cooking.
- Experience in meal preparation and serving will be advantageous.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential traits for success in this role.
