Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team in Durham. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and packages to designated locations across the UK in a long wheel base van or Luton.
for insurance reasons, the driver needs to be over 30 and have a no points on licence or accidents/claims.
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday - 24 hours a week - 3 x 12hr shifts with stop outs (accommodation paid for) plus potential extra hours as and when needed (this would be discussed prior)
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload items from the van
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Perform warehouse duties as required
- Handle heavy lifting of packages when necessary
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
- Valid UK driving licence with commercial driving experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to drive and navigate various routes
- Capability to handle heavy items during loading and unloading processes
Pay: £12.71 per hour
