We are seeking an enthusiastic Rugby Forwards Assistant Coach to support the delivery of our rugby performance programme, working up to 9 hours per week (minimum 345 hours per year).
Working closely with the Head of Rugby, you will contribute to the planning and delivery of coaching sessions, support the development of forwards and unit skills, and help enhance the overall performance environment for our student-athletes.
You will support the planning and delivery of rugby coaching sessions, with a particular focus on forwards and unit development.
Working as part of the Rugby Academy team, you will contribute to creating a positive, player-centred environment that supports performance, progression and wellbeing. You will also support wider academy activities and help to develop student-athletes both on and off the field.
The role requires flexibility and includes evening and weekend working, as well as travel in line with training and competition schedules.

You will hold a recognised rugby coaching qualification (Level 1 or above) and have experience supporting player development within a team environment.
You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive approach and the ability to motivate and engage student-athletes effectively.
A good understanding of performance sport environments and a commitment to continuous professional development are essential.

You'll work within a supportive and ambitious sports department, developing your coaching experience within a recognised performance pathway while playing a key role in supporting the development and success of student-athletes.
