Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our children’s home team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to child welfare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide attentive overnight care.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional stability of a child during the night hours, supporting their individual needs and care plans in a warm and secure environment.
Work Pattern
3 nights on 3 nights off.
Duties
- Monitor the young person throughout the night to ensure their safety and respond promptly to any emergencies or needs.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to children during nighttime hours, fostering a sense of security.
- Follow detailed care plans to deliver tailored support that promotes each child's development and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of overnight activities, incidents, and observations in line with organisational policies.
- Ensure the environment remains safe, clean, and conducive to restful sleep for the young person.
- Communicate effectively with day staff regarding any concerns or developments observed during the night shift

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
