We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter / Multi-Trader to join our growing team working within the social housing sector. This role involves carrying out a wide range of repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works in occupied and void properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out day-to-day carpentry repairs and maintenance in social housing properties
- Install, repair, and replace doors, windows, kitchen units, flooring, and other wooden fixtures
- Work on both planned and reactive maintenance tasks
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes
- Accurately record job details and materials used
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or multi-trader, ideally within social housing
- Strong carpentry skills with additional trade knowledge
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds)
