We are looking for a dedicated and organised Administrative Assistant to join our welcoming team at Combe Down CE Primary School. We are an inclusive school with an outstanding ethos, where staff and pupils are supported to be their best – ‘Together we plant, nurture and grow’.
This pivotal role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide a professional front-of-house service to pupils, staff, parents, and visitors.

- Proven administrative or clerical experience, ideally within an educational setting.
- Excellent IT skills, including competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and an aptitude for learning school-specific systems.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to converse at ease with all members of the school community.
- A professional, calm, patient, and flexible approach to work in a dynamic environment.
