We’re looking for a skilled, passionate and motivated Chef to take the lead on our breakfast service at our busy, award-winning beachside restaurant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering great food, excellent presentation and consistently high standards.
The Role
As Breakfast Chef, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the breakfast service, ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently and every dish leaves the kitchen to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking a range of breakfast dishes to a consistently high standard
- Taking responsibility for the breakfast section and ensuring an efficient service
- Supporting and supervising kitchen staff during service
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards
- Organising food preparation and production to ensure service runs smoothly
- Managing stock levels, minimising waste and assisting with ordering
- Working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Ensuring all health and safety and food hygiene requirements are followed
About You
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised and passionate about food, with the confidence to take responsibility for a busy breakfast service.
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience working in a busy professional kitchen
- Strong food preparation and cooking skills, particularly with breakfast dishes
- A good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
- Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, hands-on approach and a genuine pride in your work
