NextGen Teachers are delighted to be supporting a welcoming primary school in Doncaster (DN9) who are looking for a dedicated HLTA to join their team on a part-time basis.
This is a varied role, combining 1:1 pupil support with PPA cover for a Year 3 class. It's a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA looking for a part-time position within a supportive primary school environment.

Provide 1:1 support to pupils, helping them access learning and make progress.

Deliver planned lessons and activities as part of PPA cover for Year 3.

Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

Manage behaviour confidently and maintain a positive learning environment.

Adapt learning and support to meet individual pupil needs.

Work closely with class teachers and wider school staff.

Monitor and report on pupil progress and wellbeing.

Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and expectations.

Contribute to the wider life of the school and support pupils during the school day.

Qualified HLTA status or equivalent experience - essential.

Previous experience working within a primary school - essential.

Experience delivering lessons or providing PPA cover is desirable.

Confident behaviour management and classroom management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Ability to work independently while being part of a wider school team.

Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Part-time hours across Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
