Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laptop/PC/Computer Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of computer hardware and related equipment. Duties
- Diagnose and repair hardware faults in laptops, desktops, and other computer equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on computer hardware components.
- Use hand tools and schematics to disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment accurately.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer networking systems to ensure connectivity and security.
- Conduct system diagnostics to identify issues related to hardware or network failures.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and system configurations.
- Assist with the setup of new equipment and perform testing to verify proper operation.
- Provide technical support to users regarding hardware issues and general maintenance procedures.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to computer hardware components.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for disassembly and assembly tasks.
- Extensive understanding of computer hardware components such as motherboards, processors, RAM, storage devices, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience in computer repair and maintenance tasks across various systems.
- Knowledge of computer networking principles including LAN/WAN configurations and security protocols.
- Skills in equipment repair with an emphasis on reliability and precision.
- Ability to diagnose complex issues swiftly and implement effective solutions efficiently.

Pay: £24,420.00-£25,156.06 per year
