Duties
- Offer emotional support and encouragement to children, creating a trusting and positive relationship.
- Assist with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
- Support children in developing social skills through engaging activities and peer interactions.
- Mentor children by providing guidance, encouragement, and positive reinforcement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to develop tailored care plans that meet individual needs.
- Observe and record children’s progress, behaviors, and any concerns to ensure their well-being.
- Facilitate educational activities that promote learning, teaching basic skills and fostering curiosity.
Skills
- Experience working with children in a caregiving or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong mentoring abilities with a genuine passion for supporting young people’s growth.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.
- Ability to teach basic life skills, social skills, and encourage positive behavior.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
