Whether you're an experienced waiter or waitress, a skilled bartender, or enjoy working across both, we'd love to hear from you. Alongside our busy restaurant and bar, you'll also have the opportunity to work at the prestigious Cambridge Union Society, supporting a diverse programme of events throughout the year.
From elegant weddings and black-tie dinners to corporate functions, VIP receptions and student events, no two weeks are ever the same. Our events regularly welcome high-profile guests, offering the chance to work in one of Cambridge's most unique hospitality settings.
What we're looking for:
- Friendly, approachable people with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Previous front of house or bar experience is preferred, but personality, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are equally important.
- Team players who thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- A professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and event shifts.
Your role will include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Taking food and drink orders.
- Serving food and beverages.
- Preparing and serving drinks behind the bar.
- Working at a variety of events at the Cambridge Union Society when required.
- Maintaining the high standards our guests expect.
