We currently require an trainee to learn all aspects of truck body building, on a permanent basis.
We are seeking candidates who are enthusiastic, highly motivated, have a 'can do' attitude and are willing to learn.
Key responsibilities:-
- Fit and assemble components using hand tools and portable power tools as required.
- Read and understand technical specification sheets.
- Measure and cut steel and timber along with installing floors and fixtures.
- Install electrical wiring for lights and other equipment according to specified procedures.
To be successful for the role, you ideally will possess the following:-
- Excellent attention to detail, a willingness to learn and self-motivated to perform.
- Reliable and committed.
- Good communication skills.
- Highly Motivated.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
On the job training will be given.
Some mechanical, vehicle body building or similar transferable skills would be advantageous although not essential.
