About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our busy workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a broad range of vehicles to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications
- Accurately diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standard of quality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
- Keep accurate records of work carried out using our workshop management system
- Assist in mentoring junior technicians where required
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience working in an automotive workshop
- Recognised automotive qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, IMI, or equivalent)
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical faults
- Proficiency with modern diagnostic software and tools
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent time management and ability to work efficiently under pressure
