We have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for an Automotive Technician at our multi franchise Vale Motors dealership in Wincanton.
We proudly represent four exciting automotive brands, including Omoda & Jaecoo – two of the fastest-growing franchises in the market – alongside GWM and Isuzu, offering a diverse and dynamic product range.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs across a range of systems (engine, brakes, suspension, electrics etc.)
- Servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards
- Road testing vehicles, including customer demos where needed
- Carrying out vehicle health checks
- Speaking directly with customers to explain issues and fixes
- Keeping your workspace clean and safe
- Supporting the team – we’re all in this together!
- CPD – We’ll help you with training & development to allow your career to flourish!
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair & minimum of 2 years' practical experience
- Experience in a Main Dealer environment
- EV / Hybrid training a bonus (we’ll support you if not!)
- MOT Tester status? Even better!
- Someone who’s positive, honest, takes pride in their work and wants to grow with us
- Full UK driving licence (with less than 6 points)
- Your own tools and a can-do attitude

Salary
Competetive, dependant on experience
Hours
- Mon – Fri: 8:30am – 5:00pm (30 mins unpaid lunch)
- Alternate Saturdays: 8:30am – 12:30pm
