Nursery Apprentice / Nursery Assistant - Brighton, East Sussex, BN1

Salary: Starting at £12.21 per hour / £25,396.80 per annum
Hours: 30-40 hours per week over 3, 4 or 5 days | 8am–6pm
Contract: Permanent, full-time, all year round
We are a friendly, supportive nursery in Brighton, looking for a Nursery Assistant to join our supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in childcare while working towards a Level 3 Early Years qualification at our setting.

The Role
- Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS
- Plan and deliver engaging indoor and outdoor activities
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding
- Contribute ideas to enhance the nursery environment
About You
- Previous nursery or childcare experience
- Maths and English GCSEs
- Keen to gain a Level 3 Childcare qualification
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about inclusive, child-centred care
- Eligible to work in the UK
