Warehouse Operative job specification
Position reports to Warehouse Manager
Salary: £29,400PA
OTE: £30,600
Hours: 44 per week
Monday to Thursday 8am – 5.30pm
Friday 8am to 4.30pm
1hour paid lunch each day and 30-minute unpaid break
Warehouse Responsibilities
Working in a small team with the below responsibilities:
· Pick & pack customer orders as per the company process using scanners
· Daily stock replenishment to pickface
· 1 x 6am start (overtime rate of time and a half) required weekly on agreed day by Line Manager for container or pick/pack as standard
· Work with the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor on any ad-hoc warehousing tasks
· Work with team members to ensure that the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
· First 2 hours overtime paid at time and a half and anything overpaid at double time
Other Duties
· Develop effective communication systems with all staff and customers of NWT Ltd
· Undertake any training required by the company to increase job performance
· Adhere to all health & safety procedures in accordance to company policy
· Ad hoc activities as agreed by the Warehouse Manager and Directors
