Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of designated areas by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces regularly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure facilities are well-equipped at all times
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for all staff and visitors
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality across all areas
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required to uphold high standards of hygiene
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and steam cleaners safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering thorough cleaning results
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move around for extended periods during shifts
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling and safety procedures is a plus
